Explore eight art installations inspired by folkloric creatures such as Bigfoot, Nessie & more. This exhibit is outdoors, free and available 24/7 through summer.
Follow a map to find items across the museum campus left behind by famous "cryptids" - creatures known from folklore or legend, like Bigfoot, Mothman and a Pegasus. Use your smartphone to listen to an audio tour with stories about each critter that are voiced by museum staff and friends.
The Cryptid Critter Crawl was created by Pittsburgh-based artist Owen Lowery. All ages can explore the Crawl free of charge all summer outside of the Children's Museum; admission to the Museum is not required.
