Bonnie & the Mere Mortals is an up-and-coming Southern Gothic outfit from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They combine Americana with a mixture of shoegaze and synth pop to create something fresh, yet catchy and familiar. Their music and on-stage performance is like the Grand Ole Opry had a Halloween party, and has been likened to "a menacing hoedown" and "either the rootsiest shoegaze show ever, or the haziest bluegrass show ever."
